CJ is my second child, born in 1984. He’s currently a junior at the University of Memphis, where he’s following in his father’s footsteps and studying bass, with a focus in jazz performance. (We sometimes try to call him CJBass, but it never really caught on.) He’s expecting to graduate at the end of the summer, and he and his girlfriend, Meagan, are expecting their first child early 2009.

Some random facts about CJ:

• He played cello before he picked up the bass.
• He attended a Catholic high school.
• He drives a really cute silver little Volkswagon.
• He desperately wants to move to NYC after he graduates from college.
• He enjoys composing.
